Just Another Day in Paradise

Hey, lookie here...
over here...
look closer...
do you see?
behind the blade of grass?
its Chippy!

now on the rocks - he comes for some apple bits...but he doesn’t like the skins. these pics taken yesterday.
today he was bold and ran across the deck before resuming his place at the bottom of the stairs to hunt for more magical apples...where do they come from?, he wonders...
yesterday afternoon...

truly translucent cloud
never saw anything like it...
had to rub my eyes a bit and take a second gaze.
According to western astrology for this geographic location (summer ingress astrology chart), we are in for more of a cloudy, rainy, cooler summer, and so far, it has proven itself. The 8th August Moon phase chart shows Uranus in the IC - the place that signifies exactly where you live... and so any planet there suggests you will get the weather of that planet. (I’m brand new at studying astrometeorology - it is fascinating!)
Uranus is the planet of abrupt change, wind, cool, storms, and today was a perfect example of that;
  1. cloudy morning
  2. partly sunny around 8am
  3. rain, wind, cooler, thunder, lightening by 9 am
  4. mostly sunny with some occasional clouds through now (1:30) with some distant thunder.
fast change of weather all day..
when the sun came out I went to work on the back yard. the grass is too high for a hand mower, too weird to be cut by the scythe, too thick for the weed cutter, and I don’t want to use gas-powered mower (though that is not working anyway...thank God). So I muddled through with the weed cutter.
Physical labor feels great.
After a decent bit of work, getting closer to the echinaceas, I saw some interesting angles that could be good pics...so...

to bee or not to bee...
that is the nectar.
also get  hummingbird and a bright, bright yellow warbler with black wings enjoying said nectar.

this reminds me of sahasrara chakra...

Heal-All (aka Self-Heal, aka All Heal)

St. John’s Wort

inside the echinacea, st. john’s and milkweed patch I found this rather large yellow/black spider - maybe 3/4 of an inch. If you look closely, its front legs have claws like a crab...

some unusual orange-yellow horn-shaped flower - the hummingbird love this patch of flowers - coming daily for nectar. couldn’t find it in the audubon flower book. It’s stem hooks to the middle of the horn (side) instead of the bottom like most flowers. also couldn’t get a closer pic in focus, but I’ll keep trying to show you.
ok enough art, back to physical work...am I changing as fast as Uranus today?
out to the ‘back 40’, or at least the back 3. continuing cutting a path to the grape vines. it seems I can cut a path about 10-15 feet of weeds in an hour with the sickle, and then it’s time for a break (more change).
So I came in  and uploaded these pics and created this blog.

Well, Uranus or not, the sun is in and out today like a yo-yo, and with it goes and comes the warmer weather.
Just another day in paradise.
Trusting you are too.
(next blog has video of these & more)
Wishing all peace & paradise, love, and grace,
