Independence Weekend

Early July - a new experience for me here in paradise.
Nights have been in the 60’s, though now it is warming up; the sweet air invites me to camp outside overnight and the hot, unconfortable air in the house is banning me from staying inside.
More beautiful sunsets & skies.
A bit of haying for this ‘gentleman farmer’
saving some hay for composting, mulching, and maybe insulation... (see the rocks and fencing beneath the hay for air drying).
Mulching the new trees (these are the Paper Birch)
Added Hawaiian peace flags
Wait, what’s this? A secret garden path?
Just made a path to the wild raspberries!...got paid in raspberries...yum!
a few raspberries on the vine - they’re all over the property!
The other side of the raspberry path...
a blueberry patch - and high up...
almost ready...
Landscaping the lawn
Red clover for tea infusion! Rich in beta carotene, vitamins C, B1,2,3,5,6,9,12; biotin, choline, inositol, and bioflavonoids; magnesium, manganese, zinc, coper, and selenium!
Interesting, after infused, the red in the clovers transfers into the tea and the clover heads become white.
uh-oh...termines on the front step (brown is wood dust pile). Natural remedies!!!
tried diatomaceous earth...
you see the results...
just learned of a borox-boiling water mix...
will let you know the outcome.
a little drama in paradise; stay tuned
