Day B 4 Guru Purnima

Today the deer and I are in greater sync, and they seem to be more relaxed with me around...getting used to me (I hope).
Just about to go outside and saw this upper photo of two baby deer resting and eating under the shade of the apple tree.
Later in the afternoon I was just stepping out and mama deer came by.

During my errands today I crossed the small bridge into Gilbertsville and saw this Blue Heron cooling himself (ie, his wings are stretched) by the river.
Until just recently, the animals would never stay around long enough for me to photograph them. I guess I’m starting to fit into nature’s cycle here...

As I create this blog I notice a nice up/dwn pattern created by the new and older echinacea petals growing outside the window.

Updates:
termites: 1 of two holes seem to have stopped showing sawdust hills. the other one is still going - I cooked up a triple formula; basil, neem, borax and painted it on the hole, but it didn’t affect the termite(s). Have to go back to the borax water solution that worked better.
skunky: may be two; seeming to live under the camping trailer, but this morning I heard them under the house... have to check for entry points and block them.

Night B 4 Guru Purnima
