The First Days...

The Swami Narayan Tirtha Math has moved from Long Island to breathtakingly beautiful Butternuts Valley, upstate New York.
The move allows me to align myself with my higher spiritual goals, which include more natural living; slowing down to nature’s pace; breathing sweet fresh air, listening to the sounds of nature (including sacred silence); and basically living more in harmony with nature and spirit.
When I closed on the house, I spent two days in the new ashram, waking up my first morning on Diwali & my Guruji’s birthday.
All I had was some clothes and my ayurvedic foods, and of course the roof over my head - the basic necessities of life. You know what? That was all I needed.
Then back to Bayville to pack up the 16 foot truck with things I couldn’t remember why I needed.
Moved up on Sat the 17th with the help of my shishyas, Nick & Stacey. Nick drove my car, Stacey drove their car with their kids and her dad, and I drove the truck. Once you get used to driving the truck, it was more fun than driving the car.
Nick had some terrific ideas about moving the unloading ramp right onto the front porch - it saved days of work because I was going to leave all the boxes in the garage several hundred feet away and slowly move them in. With Nick’s idea, we unloaded the truck in about 1 hour.
They left Sunday and then living the vision continued...
